Total Fight 2011
GRANDVALIRA
TOTAL FIGHT SNOWBOARD
PRESENTED BY BURTON & COCA COLA
For 2011 Grandvalira Total Fight is ready to be one of the best events of the scene. El Tarter snowpark will conserve its main features, the big jump, the transfer, different lines but adapting the course to a demanding global Slope Style event. Last year we saw a tight battle between the last four finalists; Kim Rune Hansen, Victor Delerrue, Ulrik Badertscher and Ville Uotila. Finally Ville Uotila won the comp with a extraordinary last run stomping a switch backside double cork 1260 in the big jump, all public acclaiming him as the best run ever done in the El Tarter snowpark. But this year the show will be even better with the Burton team looking for a maiden victory in the Grandvalira Total Fight history. Parties and easy style riding are assured in the Total Fight, trademark of the last big event of the season.
GRANDVALIRA
TOTAL FIGHT FREESKI
PRESENTED BY ATOMIC AND COCA COLA
In 2010 finnish rider Pekka Hysalo marked the standard in freeski riding with extraordinary double corks and a maiden victory in El Tarter snowpark. Grandvalira Total Fight, one of the first freeski competitions in Europe, -it’s been running for 6 years now- is one of the most complete events of the scene, with riders around the world -from americans Corey Vanular and TJ Schiller to austrians like Tobias Tritscher and scandinavian machines as Oskari Raitanen- competing in 3 different lines on El Tarter snowpark for the best style. In 2011 the riding is expected to go higher with more international riders and an even better course.
